Ciao!
I'm Walter and I'm a professional Level
Designer and Game Designer with several
years of experience in the field, including 2
years of work at Gameloft, where I was
employed as a Level Designer on Gangstar
New York.
I studied Game Design in Florence, Italy and
immediately after I jumped into the world of
gaming development as an indie dev, building prototypes
after prototypes, gaining experience and the trust of my colleagues.
I worked as an independent Developer within Take Team from 2016 to 2021, covering many Game Design hats while leading a small team during the whole life of "Corruptor" and many other minor projects and studies.
Later I was employed by Quadrivium Game S.r.l. in 2021 and later by Gameloft in 2022
Among my titles, I have shipped the above-mentioned "Corruptor" and joined during the production of "Quadrivium: Path of History" at Quadrivum Games S.r.l.
I also took part in the production of "Gangstar New York" as a Level Designer, during my employment at Gameloft.
At present, I am improving my already-present skills and adding new ones by crafting blackouts for personal projects, doing studies using Game Engines or Level Editor of established titles like Portal 2 and producing documentation to explain my design and the reasoning behind them, with a strong focus on Level Design & Scripting
